The Steering Committee for external information work of the northern province of Hai Duong on August 27 held a professional training course for officials.
Pham Van Linh, vice chairman of the Central Party Committee’s Theoretical Council, shares basic professional skills in external information work.
Attending the event were nearly 300 delegates, including members of the steering committee, press agencies, and communication collaborators.

Leaders from the provincial Party Committee’s Department of Information and Education emphasised that in the context of deep-and-wide international integration along with the complicated and unpredictable developments in the East Sea, the external information work plays an important role. The staff in this field should raise responsibilities and improve skills to promote the image of land and people of Vietnam and Hay Duong in particular to the world and prevent false information.

Le Thi Thu Hang, head of the Information Department of the Foreign Ministry and spokesperson of the ministry, informed about the regional and global situation as well as Vietnam’s stance, viewpoints and measures against the infringement of Chinese survey ship Haiyang Dizhi 8 and its escorts of Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone and continental shelf./.
