Viet Nam and Japan consented to promote the effectiveness of dialogue mechanisms and enhance cooperation in the COVID-19 fight, the reception of Vietnamese trainees, official development assistance (ODA), trade and investment in the upcoming time.

Chinese embassy’s press conference on resumption of Vietnam-China trade
The Chinese Embassy in Vietnam on May 7 held a press teleconference on the bilateral relations and international cooperation amid COVID-19 prevention and control.
Present at the event were representatives from central agencies, neighbouring Hung Yen province, departments and sectors of Hai Duong province and Cam Giang district, and universities, colleges and schools, among others.
Ford Vietnam revealed an additional investment worth 82 million USD to increase its assembling plant’s capacity to 40,000 vehicles a year from the current 14,000 during a ceremony held in the northern province of Hai Duong on January 14.
